7.0 7. First Power-On Checklist

• verify all wiring before powering
• verify common ground continuity on the DC side
• verify regulator or buck output voltage
• confirm the ESP32 is not connected directly to 12V
• confirm flyback diode orientation
• power the low-voltage system first
• test sensor reading and valve switching before enabling AC
• test relay logic before connecting the pump if possible
• only enable mains after the low-voltage side behaves correctly
